B&B Basement Services

I am a realtor and when my clients have a basement issue, B and B basement is the first one I have them call. They have always been please with B and B’s work. We recently moved back to Waupaca, and needed our basement windows replaced. We also needed a large access opening created in our unfinished basement. We worked with Joe until we found a solution. The crew that came out to do the work was awesome. They were friendly and polite. They cleaned up after themselves. Jon Steinberg, the foreman was knowledgeable and easy to work with. They were priced right. These guys are a locally owned family business. They will treat you right.

Awesome company to do business with. Communication and explanation of services provided left no doubt about what needed to be done. No pressure tactics. The crew they sent to encapsulate our 123 year old crawlspace, install the basement drainage system, 8 Bigboy jacks, and tuckpoint part of our fieldstone foundation was equally awesome. They kept the area very clean and had a positive attitude throughout the job. This company is a joy to do business with.

I want to rate the Stein team a 10 plus! These guys were constantly doing something! They knew exactly what they were doing and did it very well! They would constantly listen to the other crew members if they needed a tool someone was always right there to help each other out! They always kept things neat and tidy as they went along! No matter how messy the job got they always had it under control! Happy and got along with each other! They always had a knowledgeable answer to all questions I had! They explained everything to me. They encouraged us to take pictures also. They didn’t care if we watched them like my wife and I were intrigued by everything they were doing. We thank them for that. B&B Basement came to our rescue. We had a unique situation and several companies would not even bid on the job. One company did commit to fixing but after booking us 3 months out, they showed up and backed out. We had only looked locally and were hesitant to look outside of Wausau. But B&B saved us. They came in and suggested options that no one else even thought of. And their quote was lower than the company that backed out. They showed up on time with plenty of help. We had about 4 different situations going on in our house at the same time. Each one was addressed every day and they finished the jobs in the time frame promised to us. You’ll want to call B&B if you have basement needs. We needed our basement walls reinforced. Not only did they offer the best price; they provided a guaranteed and quality product. They also went above and beyond with customer service and were very honest. The day of the installation it was noticed boxed wall outlets with metal connections would prevent the installation of the beams on one wall. We assumed the worst but B&B had an electrician come in AT THEIR EXPENSE and reroute the connections. Top notch service.

I would give B&B 5+ stars. They presented this huge project clearly & totally delivered. We’ve lived in a newly built condo for nearly 6 yrs. with multiple (at least 15) deep ground water floods, as builder should not have dug basements here. Years of stress (floods ranging from 7”-26 1/2”) are now behind us as we move forward in retirement. The crew was pleasant and some of the hardest workers we’ve seen. All was cleaned up and the finished product of filling a 1,640 sq. ft. basement with tons of stone, followed by dimple board and encapsulation looks clean and exactly as the pictures we saw of the final product. The owners were on the job and all was supervised and inspected when done. A great company. Thank you B&B for caring enough to rescue us from this nightmare!
